Governor's Honors Program

I am finally at GHP and believe it or not I’m having loads of fun. Today is just the first day… and seriously there’s so much to do here. I have a feeling I’m going to have a bindas summer.

I woke up at 5:30 in the morning on Sunday and we left at 6-6:30 to get here. Arrived here at 9:45 although my check-in time was 9:30 (but you know us Indians are always late!!). Okay then, checked in and unpacked all my stuff (btw, although it’s a dorm, it looks really good :-?). Parents went to an orientation and after that we had lunch at Subway. Students had their orientation at 3:30pm (mom-dad left then) and right after that we had dinner (which was ok) then dorm meeting, then another student meeting, then gender meeting, then another dorm meeting…whew!! It was very, very, very tiring. I hit the showers after everything and at 11:30pm lights were out. I slept pretty well.

This morning I woke up at 6:30 and left the building around 7:40. Had breakfast, and was later for my class :-$. After the 4 hour class I had lunch. Since then I have been attending orientations for minor courses.

Whatever I just told you won’t make sense unless you know what this GHP is. Unfortunately, I don’t have time right now… maybe tomorrow.
